That Night by Chevy Stevens
2.0

Chevy Stevens and I started out strong. I loved the first few books I read by her. LOVED.
What is this?
Toni is a teenager when her and her boyfriend Ryan are sent to prison for the murder of her younger teenage sister.
Too much of the book is spent repeating over and over how Toni and her parents (especially her mother) are at odds. How her mother favored her younger "good" sister and how Toni was the rebellious one.
Her boyfriend Ryan came from a family that was looked down upon by the people in the area. Ryan destined to become like his alcoholic father?
Evidently listening to grunge and metal leads to a life of crime as well.
So, Toni is bullied by a girl she used to be friends with all throughout high school. Shauna is such a hyper bully. So cliched. Popular, spoiled, cop dad...
But then, Toni is bullied in prison AND the halfway house??? WTH?
I'm not going to go on to what happened when Toni is released from prison.
It was entirely too much.
Read if you feel like being frustrated.
