I who never knew a book like this 😩😩😩😩😩
This little novel that carried so much sadness. I’ve never seen a story capture loneliness and yearning so well. This dystopian sci-finis so ahead of its time. The feeling of desolation and dread was so palpable throughout the book. Reading it never had me feeling satisfied but I was rushing to get my hands on it in between sections. Truly sat there reeling once I finished. Forever changed.
Also can’t believe this is translated from French - how well done.
