I was hooked immediately and could not put it down! This had twist after twist that totally caught me off guard. The story alternates between Lee and Hazel’s points of view, and I was fully invested in both. Just when I thought I had it all figured out… I didn’t. But even if I had, the journey was so good it wouldn’t have mattered.
The characters are layered and compelling, with just the right amount of backstory to keep things moving without slowing down the plot. And if you’re into audiobooks, both narrators were great. This is one of those thrillers that keeps you reading late into the night.
