Same As It Ever Was
by Claire Lombardo
True to the title, not much happens. Things remain as the always were. The main narrator has a rich inner life and the main problems that she encounters are products of her personal trauma. It’s a bit melancholy and sad at times. I enjoyed the book because of the rich characterization and powerful dialogue.
