Stop everything. Catching Sparks is my favorite book of 2024. This series has been so amazing, but this book? This book? It’s everything I’ve ever wanted. We’ve got…
-A bruting billionaire MMC with a chip on his shoulder
-A C👏O👏N👏F👏I👏D👏E👏N👏T👏plus sized FMC who has her own thing going on
-Fish out of water story
-A supportive friend group
-Groveling
-A tropical vacation
-She teaches him how to ride a horse
-For a guy who doesn’t need anyone, he sure does need her

These are some of the best characters that Hannah Cowan has ever written. They feel so real and fully formed. Poppy is a strong feisty business owner. She’s got a lot going for her but also wishes she had a little bit more. Her parents owning the place she rents is great and all, but it's hard to want to make your space your own when it’s not really yours at the end of the day. Garrison is all business all the time. But being all business all the time is hard when you work with your father and blame him for your mother’s drastic shift in wellbeing. I don’t think I’ll ever get over Poppy and Garrison or want to leave Cherry Peak.
