Wow! I absolutely adore these books/this series, so excited to read the next two! After falling in love with the TV series, a work friend told me that the books held so much more magic and were worth the read, and I completely agree. The books are so similar yet so different to the show, with the same familiarity and magic, but a whole new stories. Definitely an easy book to read, and I'd say a classic in young adult fiction, I wish it was more praised in todays age as it's so underrated.
