trying my hardest to keep this spoilerfree

On Instagram I made a post about this book saying that this book really has a really quiet and subtle way of absolutely stressing me out.

And I think that pretty much sums it up really well.

SYDNEY. It's not just that I absolutely loved her, it's going on this journey with her and feeling everything she is feeling, feeling sad and angry, frustrated and also questioning her own sanity. It was a lot!!! (I didn't care much for Theo, not gonna lie.)

I loved this neighborhood and their community, and I hate what was done to all of them (from the micro agressions to the bodily harm.)
But I liked that this didn't have a fairytale ending, cause yeah, the world and society sucks. There's always gonna be another battle to fight. It's blood boiling.
