Aurora was sent away for her safety to live in a convent after the kidnapping of her older brother.
Now, 15 years later, she is to return home and take her place in her mafia family and her arranged engagement.

I just have to say again how M.L. Philpitt is an incredible writer and storyteller and is definitely an instant buy author for me.
I always get completely sucked into her stories and lose all concept of time.

As with The Hunt In Elusion, we get the vibes of the fairy tale they are inspired by with a modern and unique take to them.

I love the tension between Aurora and Rosen, especially as she is constantly trying to rule him up.

But Rosen is the only person who truly sees her, and it's this connection that I couldn't get enough of.

I love the progression of the ongoing storyline, which is so intriguing, and even though this book has just come out, I'm so excited to devour the next one in the series 🖤
