The Home Wrecker is the second book in The Goode Brothers series and it is just as amazing as you would assume because hellooo it’s Sara Cate. And Sara Cate never lets you down when it comes to amazing stories mixed with a healthy amount of spice. This story follows Caleb Goode and his wife Briar and their new tenet Dean who was also a childhood friend ( or was he) of Caleb’s little brother Isaac. Caleb and Briar are perfect on the outside but behind closed doors their relationship is in serious trouble. Briar is doing her best to be the perfect wife and mother but at what cost. And Caleb is just going through the motions, their sex life is for a baby not fun or connection. In walks Dean who needed a place to stay and they had an apartment over their garage.  Briar is taken by the hot younger man and Caleb also feels the attraction to Dean but doesn’t know how to deal with that. This book has so many Facets and they are weaved together so perfectly. We see the want and need all 3 of them have for each other. I wasn’t sure how I would feel about the cheating aspect but the way the story is laid out it had to happen. It’s a turning point. The Home Wrecker had me feeling all sorts of emotions, sadness, lust, curiosity, happiness and so much more, which means the writing is excellent. Is Caleb my new favorite Goode brother? Yes I think so!
