Make You Mine

“The world is cruel and hard. People put you in a box and try to keep you there. What I’ve learned is when you find the person who believes in you, hold on to him or her and never let go”
Make You Mine by Tia Louise is a sweet and emotional thrill ride from start to finish. Grayson and Drew’s story is painfully heartbreaking, but engaging and susceptible nonetheless. It’s not frequent you’ve found a fictional couple that grows together through trauma. But Tia Louise managed to create such realistic and interesting backstory for these characters that made the story sensible in every way.
Fortunately, it’s not your usual forbidden romantic stories. I thought so at first, seeing that Grayson Cole was Drew Harrison’s brother’s best friend. And the mutual attraction started right away. Sadly, not everyone in their little town quite like the idea of seeing them both together. Especially, Drew’s family.
I won’t spoil any further, but nevertheless, it’s a book to look out for. I can’t understand why I’ve never read this author’s work before, but it’s clear now that she has rightfully earned her way on my top favorite authors.
