More Than Him by Jay McLean

Logan and Amanda Part 2 - more ups and downs, more friendship and more feelings. I love it!

Logan did what he thought was best and Amanda is left behind hurt and angry. She slowly learns to understand why he did what he did, gets to know him better through his dad. He fights with being guilty for everything bad happening to her.
Then he's back and with him all the love, hurt and memories.

How good ist this story? These two together are epic! Logan is still so special and Amanda's still such a sweetheart.
I get all the mixed feelings Amanda had while she grew stronger. Her journey of forgiving him was slow and authentic, full of hurt, disappointment yet understanding and love. How this year changed the perspective and how the more she learned about Logan, the more his actions and decisions made sense.

I absolutely loved how naturally they slipped into being back together. And how they still knew their issues and talked about them. All while being all secret because Ethan was uber-protective.

Logans Journal and his development amazed me and everything about what monsters are capable of broke my heart. Logan is simply the best, how he reacted with Heidi was a no but he tries to make it right always, he's not perfect but real and amazing. I knew he had issues but hearing that the Logan we love turned into a broken boy again because of the monsters, really had me...

Big Shout-Out to drunk Lucy, I can't wait for her and Cams story. I just love spending time with these people. Not as fond of Heidi at this point but I want her and Dylans story.
I grew to really like Tyson and enjoyed his little story and hope he'll come back at some point and I enjoyed Ethans story - until the huge freak-out.

Logan and Amanda would have deserved 5 Stars but then it had to escalate
Like he was beat to unconciousness and she was nearly raped. This is for sure something they have to take time and get over. I loved how much drama there was when everyone blames theirselves.
And I get that her brother always was protective and now even more. But seriously? I dont know if Ethan knows all about Logans past at that point but Amanda sure does. And poor Logan, the broken little boy, takes all the beating as punishment.
After everything that happened to Logan having Ethan beat him like that and nearly not mentioning it afterwards is just wrong. Beaiting Logan through the whole story is kind of the wrong direction to take IMO.
I also don't get how worried Ethan can get when she doesn't answer her phone... Like it's been one year and he can't control her no matter what he thinks.

I really hoped that, when she slapped him and he got mad, it would head in that direction, to show how she might be stronger and know how to defend herself but to not randomly run around and beat people. But this is exactly what happens here...

I hope to find out soon on what these two missed out and where things go from here...
