Oh my goodness...this book! I didn't want to get on the bandwagon but my husband bought me a copy for Christmas and I devoured it in 2 days. I was immediately hooked - the setting (so quintessentially English), the characters (all delightful) and the plot...! Enough twists and turns to keep you guessing but not so many that you lose track. I also liked that many of the loose ends were tied up but a few were left open for the upcoming sequel. Honestly, the hype is real - this is a gem of a book. I laughed out loud numerous times and gasped at some of the reveals. I can't wait to see who they cast in the film that is about to enter production and I can't wait for the second book.
