I'm far from being a professional book reviewer and give ratings almost solely based on how well a book kept my attention and how predictable the plot was.

The ending of this book was very disappointing. I was hoping for a "wow! I didn't see that coming, but now that I know, it is painfully obvious" and instead got a "there's absolutely no way in hell you would ever have been able to have guessed this" type ending.
Except I guess I should have been able to guess it because it had the exact same out of left field "plot twist" that a book I read last month had.

I'm pretty sure I added this audiobook to my TBR pile because I usually adore Imogen Church's narrations.

Despite how big of a let down the ending was, this book was able to keep my attention. I was hoping that the various story lines would all fall together into a cohesive "oooohhhh-it all makes sense now" moment. But that moment never happened.

Lastly, the entire plot just felt a little all over the place with the various storylines, and parts of it felt rushed. Much like this all over the place review.
