Collapse Feminism: The Online Battle for Feminism's Future by Alice Cappelle

4.0

Firstly, this book has inspired me to read more nonfiction. I have never enjoyed a nonfiction book so much and I am grateful for Alice Cappelle for writing this! Her voice really shines through and I am looking forward to reading this book again someday.

As much as I appreciate the YouTube video recommendations, it feels strange to see so many tertiary sources cited and I felt it weakened some arguments. I feel the majority of this book was evidence and it was missing analysis. If I wasn't already very interested in this subject, I think this would have been a difficult book to read, even with explanations for all of the slang.

Finally, this review is mostly a log for myself. But I would like to say, I hope tremendously that Cappelle keeps writing! (:
