“Be adequate”
How’s that for a life motto?
A memoir about dealing with debilitating anxiety… it’s getting a thumbs up from me. I wouldn’t say I have crippling anxiety, but anxiety is definitely not a stranger to me either. So much of what Julie wrote and experienced was real to me. Julie is a regular mom, with a regular life, with regular stuff to deal with and that made this so relatable. We all have our own shit, our own experiences, but if anxiety is one of your shitty things or you’re looking to better understand someone you love who deals with it, this book felt like a real honest and raw take on it.
