Not too bad, but something was missing. Characters are good, there was some interesting misdirects in the plot, and near the beginning I did feel invested. I would recommend the audiobook narrated by Erin Bennett if you wanted to pick it up, the character voices were really wonderful and it helped me stick with it. Not my favorite from Tremblay, but doesn’t sour me on his other books by any means.
