"What do they put in it? Cigarettes?" - Theo Von

That's exactly how I felt about this book because it was addicting! I started it this morning and was very upset I had to pause to go to work but I picked it up immediately when I got home and didn't stop until I finished it

There is nothing particularly terrifying about this book, most of it is just unsettling. From the current events to the stories in the manuscript, to the very last page. Colleen Hoover successfully branched out from her usual romance genre and created a thriller I couldn't put down.

Not a single character in this novel is somebody that I would blindly trust, not even the child. That's what I love about this novel. It's hard to know who to trust or believe, but no matter what side of the story you buy into you're on the edge of your seat.

Definitely check out the Trigger Warnings before reading if you're uncomfortable with stories that involve harm to children
