The Science of Stephen King: The Truth Behind Pennywise, Jack Torrance, Carrie, Cujo, and More Iconic Characters from the Master of Horror by Kelly Florence, Meg Hafdahl

3.0

Personally, this book could have been a LOT better. The authors really didn't go into much details in the way of science. In fact, there was very little science in the book. The authors chose too many stories to look at by King, so they really didn't have time or space to go into any depth. I think they should have chosen the most popular stories and gone into greater depth with those. Also, it was rather annoying when they added their own comments into the interviews. I really didn't care if they found something fascinating or not. I wasn't really looking for their take on anything, more on the actual science itself.
