She's a Wild One by Kristen Proby
4.5
Yup…obsessed. This story has been building for four freaking books and it was so worth it. Millie and Holden’s story spans over almost a decade. Rival ranch families in a small town with no one really knowing why it was still going strong after 100 years. This book unpacks it all. It’s messy, sad and brutal. But there is so much work to try and heal it all. It’s a beautiful, emotional story.
All of this with all the characters we love from the rest of the series. Oh and it’s hella spicy.

The only thing keeping it from a full 5⭐️ for me is this one repetitive conversation that happens. It’s sweet and kind of possessive and I loved it because of the history behind it but I would have preferred it a little less often just to preserve how sweet and funny and possessive it was.

Graphic: Animal cruelty, Child abuse, Cursing, Domestic abuse, Emotional abuse, Panic attacks/disorders, Physical abuse, Death of parent, and Murder
Most of these triggers happen as retelling of family history.
