Never Trust A Broken Heart by Ivy Symone

3.0

Sad story, but just OK to me. The a writing to me was very basic and repetitive. There is one scene with Miki and Redd that made me cringe and could have been rewritten. But there were a few instances where the author would say something and say it again a different way in the next sentence, which made me feel like the book was a little drawn out.

I felt bad for Miki because I know her story isn't unique, but I was also frustrated that she didn't act sooner (again, I know this happens in real life). I had mixed feelings about Bebe because he tried to be patient with Miki but he wasn't entirely innocent either.
