All the Days Past, All the Days to Come by Mildred D. Taylor

5.0

When I tell you I sobbed through most of this book, I am not lying. It was a pleasure and an honor to see the Logan family grow up and strike out on their own. I loved seeing how the characters over the saga developed and grew into their adult selves. I met Cassie when I was a little girl and read this as an adult as she was an adult. I felt like I had grown up alongside her journey.

This book like the others in the saga touch upon so many important elements of racism, hate, love, courage, and so much more. If you were ever on the fence about reading a book, please pick this one up and do yourself a favor. You won’t regret it and I hope you will love the Logan family as much I grew to love them through this series.

This book was a blessing.
