The Kill List is the third book in the Inspector Angelica Henley series and another fantastic read by the author and you can read it as a standalone.
The SCU is on a hunt for a serial killer after the man who has been in castrated and accused of killing 5 women 25 years ago was acquitted after some further DNA was found. But was murdered on the same day.
The serial killer seems to have started killing again, as a body is found with the mouth sewn up. But when they untie it, they find a list in their mouth of people have died and going to be next.
We also learn and their personal lives and the effect that working for the Police has a detrimental effect on each SCU team members relationships.
This is a dark tense gripping read, with some red herrings along the way. I enjoyed this for the most part, but for me found the storyline far too long 4 stars from me.
