It is not often the second book in a series makes the first book look like child’s play. It is not often that the second book is so much better, more raw, emotionally charged and absolutely addictive that it surpasses the first book. This is book is that though. “A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire” is everything I want in a book. Monsters, politics, romance, empathy, passion and magic. All the way to the last page, my heart and mind raced. I couldn’t put it down.
