I don't know what I was expecting this book to be, only knowing it's a beloved classic, but it completely surprised me in so many ways. It was so gorgeous and honest and unapologetic. I can 1000% see why it's considered a classic.
Knocked down half a star because I personally didn't love it being written in the dialect (though I totally get why). Just made it a little hard to read at times. Also a little rambly at times. But otherwise perfect.
