Strong character development: Yes
I did really enjoy it once I let myself get properly stuck in without distractions. I loooove historical fiction. Anne Boleyn genuinely evil in this book got everything she had coming to her. I don’t know if that’s actually true for real life, but the author’s note said she did kill at least one person which I did not know. Also just insane that you would want to marry a man who is the father of your niece and nephew. Thank god I’m not a courtier is all I can say.
