I'll Never Be Your Crown Princess! (Manga) Vol. 1 by Natsu Kuroki, Saki Tsukigami
3.25
I went into this expecting a fun, possibly slightly silly Isekai romance story, and to some extent that is what I got. I also correctly expected it to be explicit (the shrink wrap is always a giveaway). I rather liked the female main character.
Unfortunately I struggled not to dislike the male lead. The consent issues were stronger than I can ignore - the sex itself is consensual, but certain other things which follow are not. He was particularly questionable within the first half of the book, and while later chapters from his perspective made him somewhat more likeable, it felt like too little too late.
In all honesty I didn't dislike the book, but considering the high cost of manga, I'm not sure this is a series worth my continuing.
