Some parts dragged and it fell into one of least favorite tropes of Austen inspired works-- equating Mr. Darcy to Prince Charming or reducing him to another brooding hero. This book somehow did both. However, ultimately, I'm glad I stuck with this book.

Even though she's annoying a lot and doesn't always think things through and he also was completely off his rocker and when he had Charlene arrested, I'm shipping Phaedra with Detective Morelli. I think they're cute together. Although, I'm pretty sure the intention is she ends up with Mark Selden. Low-hanging fruit if you ask me, but we'll see what the next books bring. :)
