Since I never read the blurb, I was blindsided by the first 15% of this book. Intense, is how I would describe it.
I liked the entire story, except I felt that a few aspects of Ryan were kind of just thrown in at the last minute. It felt forced. I won't say what part, those would be spoilers. But I just don't think those side parts were needed. It made me not love the book.
