Didn't expect to love it so much

I really enjoyed the plot, characters and the universe that we are in.  The plot was so good with the dark atmosphere. I loved the whole quest to find Clara's mother and the other lost. The romance here was a sweet bonus because the whole mystery/quest was in itself interesting and kept me entertained. The end was perfect.
Indeed,
we completely forgot why the book disappeared in the first place because we are trying to predict what's gonna happen to Clara and Alex; and the end is like "didn't you forget something 🤨 ?"

I actually liked that the end concludes all the "subplot"/mysteries except one and thus we have an ending that satisfies us if we thought that the book was okay and we don't have to absolutely read the next one !
