chloesbooks789 's review for:
Hench
by Natalie Zina Walschots
I liked parts of this book, but I felt like the main character had such a lack of self-awareness (and not in a fun way, but in a way that it seemed like the author didn’t realize the cognitive dissonance) that it made parts of the book really drag. It also was about 100 pages too long.
The concept of this book is really interesting, but I feel like the author was trying to set up the possibility of more books in this world instead of really sticking the landing.
