This was my first Darcy Coates book and I am thinking about picking something else from her. I have heard mixed reviews on this one - fans either loved it or thought it was the most disappointing out of her others.
She is the Queen of the horror genre, but it definitely had more of a suspenseful thriller feel. That may be why her fans didn't take to it. I did catch on who was behind everything and why due to some vague inconsistencies, but the author succeeded in making you think by playing mind games with the reader...and that is what I love about this genre!
