Hunt the Fae by Natalia Jaster

4.0

I liked Lark’s story, but I LOVE Juniper’s story!

While Lark was stuck playing the ruler of the sky’s game, Juniper is stuck playing the ruler of the woodland’s game. Puck is a satyr and so is rather salacious, flirty, seductive, and cruelly charming. And then Juniper is the complete opposite. She is given a riddle that she has to solve within 13 days or else she dies. And once again, Puck and his fellow woodland Fae do not make it easy for her.

Juniper is booksmart, and studious, a true fellow introvert. She’s not like her sister Lark, Juniper does not understand flirting and kissing, she relies on logic, not on the heart or emotions. So whenever Puck challenges her on matters of the heart or her emotions, it makes her think, against her better judgement.

The dynamic between Puck and Juniper is just too adorable. Unlike Lark, I absolutely LOVED Juniper’s romance. It was so sweet, and with how different the two are, they just balance each other out so well and teach other different things to make them each better people.

And once again, I loved the world, loved the descriptions, and how everything is written is just so fantastic!

I definitely recommend this book to my fellow Fae lovers! I look forward to the third book to see how Cove fares.
