Cheshire Crossing by Sarah Andersen, Andy Weir

2.0

I can acknowledge that this book is getting a lot of hate that it doesn’t deserve but I also know that I didn’t enjoy it. The characters were not great, the story was kind of all over the place, and the art was lack luster for so much of this. I truly don’t know what to make of this book but it wasn’t nearly as fun as the premise would lead you to believe. There were some funny moments and I don’t out right hate any of the cast but man was this a disappointment.

This feels even worse largely because I just finished reading the phenomenal Project Hail Mary and have following Sarah Anderson for years at this point yet this was such a massive let down from both of them. This felt like an amateurs first attempt at making a comic and no where close the quality we have come to expect from these two. It wasn’t unreadable but no where near what these people should have been able to accomplish.
