Never Will I Ever by CE Ricci

We love a redemption arc!! I remember being curious about Avery’s character when I read Don’t You Dare, so I was glad to finally get his story. While I did love this story, I do think the story might have hit a little harder for me if I had re-read Don’t You Dare before this, but you definitely don’t NEED to. However, this is definitely not to say I didn’t love the book!
I was super invested in Avery and Kaleb’s relationship from the beginning and I loved how it all played out between them! Their slow burn friendship turned relationship was giving all the tension🤭 I also loved the growth Avery had throughout the book and his relationship with the campers, especially Elijah was super sweet. That relationship definitely played a vital role in Avery’s story.
Overall, I just loved being back in this world and re-visiting some of my favourite CE Ricci characters. I would honestly read this authors shopping list!
