The best and worst book I've read in a long time.
The writing is of an exceptional quality and I think this is a future classic. It could be studied as a masterclass in understated, subtle power through prose.
A stunningly beautiful, achingly painful, devastating yet uplifting tale that gripped me and broke my heart whilst also giving me hope about the power of small kindnesses (that add up to be anything but small).
A very difficult read that I wouldn't recommend to many, only to be read when you're in a strong and good head space and open to being challenged.
