Ramona Quimby, Age 8 by Beverly Cleary

5.0

I have SO many memories of this book. I wonder how many times i read it and if I ever read it for school or just for fun. Beverly Cleary captures the little details of being a kid so well. Someone making fun of Ramona’s big feet on the first day of school, her fixating on a comment she overheard her teacher make about her, the horror of puking at school, the responsibility of being nice to a younger neighbor, writing a big book report. I love this book and am going to go back to reading more comfort books from my childhood.
