Ahhh this really felt like the sweet beach-type filler episodes in a TV show before a bigger plot arc. So light and fun and well fit to a single cozy evening. Honestly such a nice idea to let them play a murder mystery as a origin-story for how Pip finds her holiday project topic and thus kickstarts the trilogy. (This doesn't really feel like a spoiler tbh since this is teasered from the very first pages.) Also the ending was great! Kinda want to jump right back into the trilogy now, ahhhh. So glad there's still two Holly Jackson books left I haven't read yet.
