The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson
4.0
This is a suck you in and spit you out kind of a tale. It was surprising. Basically, I was drawn in to this unusual, compelling, grotesque, sad, thoughtful and unexpected book. The initial descriptions of the burn victim's state were kind of hard to take(I was squirming), but you would be remiss to stop there.
There's a little history, mystery, love, obsession, depression, catastrophe, and hope. How can you say no to that?
