Really charming. The quiet way these two fell in love over time was so perfect. Their fears were so valid, too.

How quickly we passed through time really threw me off though — I thought we’d spend more time in each era before moving onto the next after a brief interaction.

But that said, their friends and community were spot on. Loved that.

Loved the journey to finding their careers again and redefining success for themselves.

And honestly glad she finally fucking grew up. It was really annoying throughout how the FMC didn’t want to own up to anything. She was so flippant it was annoying. But she found her anchor in the MMC and it made all the difference. I guess that’s the point.

There were so many quality lines as well — I loved the author’s writing style and voice and the banter was spot on.

A solid 4/5 read. Though I wish it had more of a NYE cover than a fall cover — it’d be more accurate to the story I think!
