Dry
by Augusten Burroughs
VERDICT: 1.75 stars, rounded to 2.
Much self-destruction, an attempt at sobriety, a few minor laughs. And, I suspect, a bit of embellishment in the telling. I suppose I got my money's worth ($0.53 thrift shop book).
You may find Burrough's brand of humor and self-deprecation hilarious, or at least moderately entertaining. I think I slightly prefer [a:David Sedaris|2849|David Sedaris|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1213737698p2/2849.jpg]'s books instead--a similar brand of humor, but more LOLs for me.
