Between Love and Loathing by Shain Rose

I don't f*cking care. I have never hated an mmc more. He is a terrible f*cking abusive *sshole who love bombed and suffocated her. He had no redeeming qualities and most of the time he made me so angry I literally shook and cried. Reading this book felt like self harm.
It's well written like the author isn't bad.
The one scene I loved was the beach "breakup" convo. The fmc I did really like and I thought she really shined here... and then he love bombed her and harassed her and forced her again.
So many s*x scenes are just r*pe. Like I'm so fr right now I don't f*cking care. If the fmc is continuously saying they shouldn't, and even wanting to disassociate during one of them, and constantly being told he knows what she wants... absolutely f*cking not.
I'm so serious, any time they had a proper conversation after the fake get together he mentions her p*ssy. Emotional arc? Oh her p*ssy is his. Boundary setting? Oh but you know I can't stay away from that p*ssy. She's tired of the bullying and asks for one genuine compliment? You know I love your sweet p*ssy babe.

I'm so f*cking tired.
This was an awful experience.
Reading this was self harm.
I shook with anger reading most of this. I cried multiple times.
This book broke me.
The fmc actually deserves the world and instead she got a different kind of abuse.
