Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey

The home renovation that seems like a headliner for this book was a footnote at best. Some good “women supporting women” moments, but otherwise not really for me. I didn’t like the lopsided power dynamics, the demeaning pet name, and some of the romance was a bit much. If you like that sort of thing, it was a relaxing beach read, and characters were relatively 3-dimensional.
Also, I was super worried about her getting pregnant for the whole second half of the book, because I’m pretty sure he didn’t use a condom in the dugout scene. An oversight? Or did a preggers/“trap him” plot point get cut?
