The 2.5 ⭐️ Is for my boy Francis because that man deserves the world and the only thing that made me finish the book is to see what ending he got (only character I really sympathised with really.) Other than that the book is wayyy to slow paced. For more than half of the book we keep getting the same description of how gloomy High Place is and how everyone is ignoring Noemí and how she needs to leave and all of a sudden the last 50pages we are bombarded with the plot of the book that shouldve been there maybe a little earlier on. Most of the characters felt very bland and I couldn’t connect to them at all. At the start Noemí is described to be this strong badass woman that wont let anything slide but at times I felt like that character description that we got at the start did not match at all as if I was reading about another Noemí and her actions really made me question her intelligence at times.
