The Spanish Love Deception by Elena Armas

3.0

I really loved this book. It's so me. I too get anxious and ruin everybody's life because of it. It's so relatable. How she freaks out and everyone's upset and then they have a conversation about it. Then they are fine. If there's anything reflective of my own relationships, it's that.

I loved, LOVED, the communication. There's a problem? Just talk it out. So easy! The problems that held back the relationship made sense you know.

I desperately needed a cleanse from the last book I read. Something wholesome usually does the trick and this most definitely did. It prevented me from falling into a slump which I am thankful for. This is the only hobby that hasn't ruined my life. I would like to keep it that way. The book was so friggin cute and paced well (there was a lot thrown at the end but I'm choosing to ignore it cause it was so cute). I'm not a fan of slow burns. But this maintained enough momentum to keep my dumbass invested. I don't have a lot of patience. Most slow burns I get bored of it. NOT THIS ONE!

I will say there is nothing groundbreaking about this book. But I enjoyed it and that's what matters.
