ugh, this book was just incredibly frustrating
I like thinking of all these cheesy YA romance books as crack because they're not usually mind blowing, but they're fun and addicting, but this was bad crack.
I will say that I did end up finishing and there were some moments at the end of the story that I did like, but on the whole, not worth it at all.
In all of the YA crack I've been reading, there's always that disturbing trend of the guy in the relationship having a serious mental health issue and it taking a toll on the (usually) with. The whole mental health plotline in When the Stars Lead to You was the same as Verona Comics (which I loved) except much more serious and worse. I do understand what was trying to be done, but it was not successful at all.
Basically, this book is not worth your time because there are so many better books out there that contain the same elements as this book but executed in a much better manner.
