The Shearing Gun by Renae Kaye

4.0

The beginning of this one was a little slow, but after a few short chapters things started getting exciting. I'm glad Hanks reputation was so good and that most of his concerns were in his head. There will always be outspoken idiots, but your life is what you make of it.

Not knowing much about Aussie life or cultural habits, I didn't feel like I was missing anything with the characters. Location doesn't matter much, country is country, so that means the character development in this story was great. You could actually see Hanks character growing and changing. Elliot was a solid foundation growing up in the acceptance of the bigger city, so it was nice for Hank to see that and draw form that.
