The painting guide was a waste to me without color pictures. Reading things like golden light ruddy tan skin (but not flesh colored!) as a skin tone didn't make sense to me. Y_Y
The stories were ok, I did like the Metamorphosis Alpha new intro over the tribal version. Gnome Cache's Dunstan and Mellard are still unlikeable, but were better than the parts with charts and 'complicated' rules and rolls. There seemed to be more ads than in the prior issues.
For some reason I still liked it overall. :)
