I really enjoyed this book! It was very character driven, which is something I love. I could clearly see a difference bewtween the characters at the beginning, and at the ending. I felt like I watched them grow. I liked the mystery too. No specific details but still potential spoiler: I will say, the whole book is not intensely focused in the 4 kids solving the murder. They live their lives, trying to navigate their new reality, and then a catalyst jump starts their investigating towards the end. But I personally liked that.
I highly recommend, especially if you're not sure you like mysteries!
