Straightforward and fun. It has a nice twist in "What's haunting the house?" and the lead character is upbeat and determined. Throw in some pleasantly creepy bits and a really good villain and the whole thing was a fun read. It wasn't a book I'll remember a week from now, but it was a good time killer.
