After the deaths of her brother and father, her mother up and leaves and doesn't come back. While Ary has makes one last effort to go on a journey for food she comes back empty handed. Ary is about to give up hope when someone from her past shows up and changes everything that Ary has every believed in. They embark on a journey that will have many effects on Ary's future and what she is supposed to up hold.

My initial reaction of The Silversmith is that it is character driven. Yes it has a good amount of world building but the main focus of the story is the characters. The characters are lovable and the growth that they have in this first book is amazing. Also their is a furry friend!!!

The plot and pace of the book I thought were great. I was sucked in within a few pages and I just kept wanting to turn them. The plot of the book was their from the beginning and what had to happen. Did it happen though? You'll have to read it to find out. The pace throughout the book I thought was medium to fast paced for me.

I would recommend this book to everyone romnantsy reads. Overall I thought it was a great read that flowed well. I gave it a 5⭐️ and if I could I would give it more. I will be continuing this series In the future.

How about a little teaser:  "Like a kitten. . . Small, adorable, fearless, and born to be lethal."
